Redditch Petty Sessions – Wednesday – Before Colonel C. F. Milward (in the chair), Messrs.
G. E. Leach, and E. T. Moule.
Cinematograph Performance – Mr Ritson, manager for Messrs. Bosco, ltd., Public Hall,
Redditch, applied for permission to open the Public Hall on a Sunday, for two performances
of the picture “Britain Prepared.” – Superintendent Davis said he had been informed that the
picture had been allowed to be shown on Sundays in a number of large towns. – The
application was granted.
Child Performers – The Bench adjourned until Monday hearing of an
application by Miss F. Jackson, of a license for two children, aged 13
years, to perform at the Palace Theatre, Redditch, for a week
commencing on April 24th. - 1916
