supplied the humour of the piece, and found full use for his fine baritone voice in the vocal
numbers which fell to the part of the Lord High Executioner. A very convincing performance
was that of Mr A. W. Warner, as “Pooh Bah.” – Mr F. Jenkins gave a satisfactory
representation of the part of “Pish Tush,” and the other parts were all adequately filled.
The chorus was an exceptionally well balanced and capable one, and the choral numbers
were all splendidly rendered. The stage management was in the hands of Mr H. Leffler, of
the Savoy Theatre, and the opera was produced under the musical direction of Mr Richard
               Williams, Tenby.

“The Dandy Fifth” – The revival of the military comic opera - 1914
“The Dandy Fifth” has certain appropriateness at the present time, and the production this
week by Mr McElroy’s company at the Palace Theatre, adds another triumph to a steadily
growing list standing to the credit of the Theatre management.
