The Senators

In 1964, John was captured on wax for the first

time, playing drums on The Senators’ track, She’s A

Mod. Recorded at Hollick and Taylor Studios in

Birmingham and released as a 7-inch single on the

Dial label, it also appeared on the brilliant 1964

compilation album Brum Beat.
