Entertainer

Colin was born at Headless Cross and his ambition
was to enter the entertainment business However his
dad sensibly pointed out it was better to learn a
skilled trade first as it was always something to fall
back on, so he became a builder.
That did not stop him following his theatrical
ambitions and he appeared in, and produced, many
productions both locally and nationally as a semi-
professional entertainer.
He also produced shows for Redditch Carnivals.

Life and Times of Colin Wheeler

Colin was born at Headless Cross, and spent a very happy childhood with his parents and
younger sister living opposite the playing field in Birchfield Road.
