William Woodfield

Needle Manufacturer

William Woodfield was born in 1834 in Redditch. He
married Ann Russell 4th May 1856 in Birmingham
and they had 12 children.

He was a needlemaker and his factory was at
Easemore Works in Elm Road Redditch.

He died in 1913 Aged 79.

Life and Times of William Woodfield

On the corner of Hewell Road and Elm Road was a large house, Elmsdale House. The
occupiers were the Woodfields from Easemore Works in Bridge Street. It is probable that
