Charles Dance
Actor
A well-known actor who started his career in the 1946 -
1970’s with the Royal Shakespeare Company in
Stratford upon Avon, as well as on television. His first Charles Dance
major role came as Guy Perron in The Jewel in the (Source: www.mirror.co.uk)
Crown in 1984.
He has continued to have starring roles in theatre,
television and film, most recently in Game of Thrones
and The Imitation Game.
NOTE: Since his nomination, it has been confirmed
that it is an “Urban Myth” that Charles Dance was
born in Redditch. He was born in Rednal.

Charles Dance, was born Walter Charles Dance, in Redditch on 10 October 1946. He was
the son of Walter Dance, an engineer and Eleanor (nee Parkes) who was born in London
