Cllr. Jack Cookson
Redditch Mayor in 2004
Jack was in the Royal Navy for nine years, ran his
own transport business, worked for Worcestershire
County Council social services and Redditch Council.
At the time he was made Mayor in 2004 he was very
involved with Age Concern, Batchley Support Group
and community safety and a governor at Batchley
First School. He was a Labour councillor who stepped
down in 2011.
