Ernest Clarke

Clarkes (Redditch) Ltd was founded in 1920 by the
late Mr. Ernest Clarke at Station Approach, Redditch.
In 1925 a former needle factory was rented and
subsequently purchased. This is still the Prospect Hill
Centre of “Sinew” Springs and Specialists.

Life and Times of Ernest Clarke
Clarkes (Redditch) Ltd was founded in 1920 by the late Mr. Ernest Clarke at Station
Approach, Redditch, premises which the firm occupied for the first 5 years of its existence.
In 1925 a former needle factory was rented and subsequently purchased. This is still the
Prospect Hill Centre of “Sinew” Springs and Specialists. With its commanding position on
a main entrance into Redditch, the works, together with the Georgian residence occupied
