Tailors to the Town

Head of the house, George Heaphy, aged 29 on the
1871 census was a Draper who was born between
Scotland and England on the high seas. George was
married to Sarah aged 24, born in Plymtree, Exeter
before moving to Redditch and setting up a clothing
shop in New Street, Redditch.

Fritz Heaphy was the last Heaphy to own the
business.
