Private Charles Maries, 8 Battalion Worcestershire Regiment (Territorials), whose
parents live in Lodge Road, Redditch. He died in a London hospital from wounds received in

France on May 25 . He was a single man, and before the war worked for the firm of
Bartleet and Sons, Redditch.

On the 1911 census Horace Gee, aged 16, lived with his parents, Frank and Hannah Gee at Astwood Bank and
he was a Needle Setter.
