The Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Redditch Messenger – Saturday 25 March
1916
Tardebigge – The V.A.D. Hospital – At this hospital, on Saturday afternoon, the
members of the Redditch Operatic Society gave a capital programme of music, etc., for the
benefit of the wounded soldiers. A number of friends were also present. The arrangements
were made by Mr F. Jenkins, who was assisted by Mrs Charles Slater. The soldiers greatly
appreciated the songs and the two sketches.
