Salvation Army, Heroes of the War – Songster-Leader Duggins, a Redditch
Salvationist, who some time since was mentioned for bravery to Sir Douglas Haig’s list of
awards, has now received a second honour. He has been given the Military Medal for what
is officially described as a “very gallant act.”
