               Astwood Bank Men killed in Action– On Saturday morning Mr and Mrs Biddle,
               who reside at Evesham Road, Astwood Bank, received news from a nurse at a clearing
               station in France that their youngest son Private Bryan Biddle, of the Worcestershire

               Regiment, had been killed in action on the 9  October.  The deceased private was 22 years of
               age.   He joined the army early after the outbreak of the war, but was subsequently
               discharged.  Having recovered he re-joined in February, 1916, and went to the front in the
               same year.
