Mrs R. Howard of Evesham Road, Astwood Bank, has been informed that her husband Pte.
Reginald Howard, has been wounded for the third time.
Mrs W. Laurence of Butler Street, Astwood Bank, has received news that her third son Pte. A.

Laurence of the 4 Worcesters has been wounded in the thigh.

Redditch Military Medallist – Lance Corporal S. Johnson, Worcestershire Regiment,
whose parents reside at Ipsley Street, Redditch has been awarded the Military Medal for
good work and gallantry in the field.

Prisoners of War Fund – the local fund for the Worcestershire prisoners of War
amounted to £653.16s.8d. last week.
The Rev. J. M. Short, curate of St Stephen’s leaves Redditch this week to take up the duties of
a chaplain to his Majesty’s Forces.
