               (On Ancestry site Military records, Norman Bamber, enlisted in Nottingham and born in

               Derbyshire but had lived in Redditch, killed in action, 23  August 1918, France & Flanders.
               Awarded the British War Medal and Victory Medal.
               (Norman Ethelbert Bamber was born in 1885 in Basford District.  On 1901 census Norman E. Bamber, aged 15,
               Apprentice, born in Derbyshire, lived with his parents William and Mary Bamber (who was principal of a Girl’s
               School, own account) and a servant, at Osborne Villa, Queen Street, Redditch.)

               Chambers A. W. - L.-cpl (29081) – Somerset from Redditch

               Battalion, Prince Albert’s (Somerset Light Infantry), born and resided in Redditch, enlisted in

               Stourbridge, died of wounds, 26  August 1918, aged 19, Western European Theatre.  Buried
               Bagneux British Cemetery, Gezaincourt, France.  Parents were Alfred and Evelyn Chambers
               of 17 Adelaide Street, Redditch.)
               Remembered on St Stephen’s war memorial, Redditch.
               (Alfred William Chambers was born in 1899 in the Bromsgrove District.  On 1911 census Alfred Chambers aged
               12, scholar, lived with his parents Alfred and Evelyn and siblings at 14 Alcester Street, Redditch.)

               Pearson K. H. (766613) – London Regiment from Redditch

               (On Ancestry site Military records, Kenneth Herbert Pearson, (766615), 1/28  (County of
               London) Battalion (Artists Rifles), born and resided in Redditch, enlisted in Stourbridge, died

               of wounds received in the retreat from Thilloy near Bapaume, 30  August 1918 aged 19.
               Buried Bagneux British Cemetery, Gezaincourt, France.  Parents Herbert Andrew and Kate
               Elizabeth Pearson.)
               Remembered on St Stephen’s war memorial, Redditch.
