Honours for Astwood Bank Men – Mr A. W. Shepherd, Evesham Road, Astwood
Bank, has received news stating that her husband Lance-Corporal A. W. Shepherd, of the
Royal Warwickshire Regt., has been recommended for the Military Medal for good work in
France.
Another Astwood Bank soldier, Private Harry Bough, youngest son of Mr Edward Bough, of
Foregate Street, has been recommended for the Military Medal for devotion to duty and

conspicuous bravery between August 21 and 25 in France.
