The Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Redditch Messenger – Saturday 31 August
1918
Redditch Officer Wounded – A message by telegram was received on Wednesday
morning by Mr and Mrs Morom, Salop Road, Redditch, that their only son Second-Lieutenant
Reginald Morom, had been severely wounded. The injuries include a fractured jaw and a
severe facial wound; also a bad wound in the forearm. Lieut. Morom is a grandson of Mr
Joseph Morom, Birmingham road, Bromsgrove, and prior to joining the army was in the
offices of Mr Charles Harrison, chartered accountant, Redditch. He was also a member of
the Redditch Cricket Club.
