Worcestershire Regt. (T.F.), was killed in action on August 27 . The deceased who went out
in October 1914, was a reservist, and had been through a number of battles. He was 32
years of age, and leaves a widow and one child. Second-Lieutenant Nott writes that he was
one of the best N.C.O.s, and would very shortly have been made a sergeant. His loss is felt
by all the men of the platoon.
