Prospect Hill
If you stop at the road side and look down Prospect
Hill, once known as Fish Hill, the modern
restaurant building opposite was once occupied by
a variety of properties including the large Crown
Inn, an old coaching inn.
Similarly, the modern St Stephen’s House was
once the site of many small shops.

Next Now turn around and look across Church Green to the Fountain, the
Steps: Bandstand and St. Stephen’s Church in the distance.
