Alma Bright Clarke
Soprano & Musical Director
Redditch born Alma founded and directs the Redditch
Choral Society which she formed in 1964. Following
a successful career as a singer and pianist, which
included broadcasting on the BBC. In addition to her
tireless work with the society, Alma has also raised
thousands of pounds for Save the Children over the
years.

Alma Bright was born in Malvern Road, Redditch on 20 October 1926 and was the
daughter of Harry and Gertrude Bright, Harry Bright was a local builder.
