               lived in Redditch, enlisted at Worcester killed in action, 13  March 1915, Western European
               Theatre.  Mentioned at Le Touret Memorial, France.
               Remembered on St Stephen war memorial, Redditch.
               (On 1911 census Harry Bonham, aged 27, Cycle Polisher, lived with his wife Annie and son at 5 Parsons Row,
               Mount Pleasant, Redditch.)

               Private Thomas Wharrad, born and enlisted in Redditch, Service No 6101, 1  Battalion, The
                                                       th
               Royal Welsh Fusiliers, killed in action, 11  March 1915, France.  Remembered on  Le Touret
               Memorial, Richebourg-l’Avoue, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.  He enlisted in the Royal Welsh
                          th
               Fusiliers 16  September 1899 at the age of 18 years 6 months and was living in Redditch.  He

               seemed to be already in 3  Battlion, Worcestershire Regiment.
               Remembered on St Luke’s war memorial, Headless Cross.
               (On 1911 census Thomas Wharrad aged 30, Cycle Frame Cleaner, lived with his wife Florence at 52 Birchfield
               Road, Headless Cross.  Thomas Wharrad married Florence Herbert in 1909 in Alcester District.)
