               Redditch Man Wounded – Private J. W. Crookeof the 1  Battalion Worcestershire
               Regiment, formerly of Hewell Road, Redditch, has been wounded.  He enlisted soon after the
               outbreak of the war.  He went into the firing line on March 6, and was wounded on March
               11.  He is under medical treatment in hospital at Woburn, Bedfordshire.  He has a brother,
               Sergeant H. Crooke, who is serving with the Army Service Corps.
