Worcestershire Regiment, resided and enlisted in Redditch, died of wounds, 17 February
1917, Mesopotamia. Buried in Amara War Cemetery, Iraq. Awarded the British War Medal and
Victory Medal.)
Remembered on St Luke’s war memorial, Headless Cross, Redditch.

The Bromsgrove, Droitwich and Redditch Messenger – Saturday 17 March
1917
Tardebigge Concert – The Redditch Brotherhood Band (conductor Mr W. A. Dean),
assisted by Miss K. Hughes and Mr J. Hopkins, gave a concert at the V.A.D. Hospital on
Saturday. At the present time there are some 42 wounded soldiers in the institution.
