Redditch and District roll of Honour – The death occurred a few days ago at the

3 Northern General Hospital, Sheffield, of Driver F. Beck, North Midland Company Royal
Engineers, whose parents resided at Redditch. Driver Beck was at the battle of Mons, and
was in other early engagements in the war. He suffered from the effects of gas fumes, which
necessitated him being invalided home. His widow and two children live at 26 Hill top,
Warley. A brother of the deceased died recently while on service in France.

1917.)
Official information has been received by his wife that Private H. Mousley, of Redditch, No.
3174 1/8 Worcester regiment, fell in action in France at the end of February. He was 26
years of age.

133 Mount Pleasant, Redditch)
Mrs Cooper, of the Tanyard, Alvechurch, has been informed by the War Office that her
husband Private Jesse Cooper, has died from wounds in hospital in France. He joined the
Worcester Regiment in July last and went out to France in December. He leaves one child.
