Redditch Officers’ Death from Wounds – Second-Lieutenant Ernest Denny,
London Regt., attached King’s Royal Rifle Corps., who had died of wounds received in action
was the second son of Mr and Mrs R. W. Denny, Mount Pleasant, Redditch. He enlisted in
the Artists’ Rifles in November, 1915, and received his commission in June of the following
year. In December, 1916, he was attached to the king’s royal Rifle Corps.
