               London Regiment, born and resided in Redditch, enlisted in Worcester, killed in action, 10
               August 1917, Western European Theatre. Formerly 6389, Essex regiment.  Remembered on
               Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium, aged 20, parents Alfred and E. J. Faithful.  Awarded
               the British War Medal and Victory Medal.

               Remembered on St Stephen’s war memorial, Redditch and St Luke’s war memorial, Headless Cross.
               Born in 1897 in the Alcester District.  On 1911 census Alfred Ernest Faithful, aged 14, lived with his parents
               Alfred and Emma Jane Faithful, at 111 Mount Pleasant, Redditch.
