Absentee Soldiers – At a special Police Court, on Friday in last week before Messrs. F.
C. Dolphin, and A. C. Millward.
James Bridgwater, Banks Green Bentley, and Leonard Charles Sutton, Silver Street, Redditch,

was charged with being absentees from the army, the former from the 5 Reserve Battalion
th
of the Notts. – Derby Regiment, and the latter from the 5 Battalion of the Worcestershire
st
Regiment, since March 31 last. – Both men were remanded in custody to await a military
escort.
