born in Crabbs Cross, Shop assistant, lived with his mother Harriet Portman and siblings, at 55 Archer Road,
Redditch. On 1901 census Howard aged 5, lived with his parents Michael W. and Harriet Portman and his
siblings in Evesham Road.)
