               Redditch Man Killed in Action – Mr and Mrs Blick, of 47 Prospect Hill, Redditch,
               have received news from the War Office that their only son, Private Fred Blick,
                                                                     th
               Worcestershire Regiment, was killed in action on the 14  April.  He joined the colours on
                      th
               April 4  1918, and was wounded twice in October, 1917.  Before the war Private Blick was
               employed at the B.S.A., Redditch, where he was well-known.  He was 22 years of age.

               (In June the family received a card from their son saying he was a Prisoner of War)
