th
Blick – Killed in action April 14 1918, Private Fred Blick, Worcestershire Regiment,
only and beloved Son of Mr and Mrs Blick of 47 Prospect Hill, Redditch, aged 22 years.
Sleep on, dear boy, in a far off land,
In a grave we may never see;
But the hardest time has yet to come,
When the boys are all returning
And we miss the face of our dear one.
From his Fiancée (Emily) and the Friends at
82 Worcester Street, Bromsgrove.
(In June the family receive a card from Fred Blick saying he is a prisoner of war)
