The HISTORY of REDDITCH New Town
Arrow Valley Countryside Centre
Taken over by private management
on June 1, 2011, the Arrow Valley
Visitor Centre has had in excess of
£300,000 invested in facilities, now
including a mezzanine area suitable
for discos, parties, private functions,
band nights, wedding feasts, fashion
shows and more, and two conference
spaces which also lend themselves for
use for other functions. The Green
Room and The Blue Room offer media
facilities, comfortable seating and
refreshments, with lovely views over
the grounds and lake.
The Coffee Shop offers a range of
barista coffees, teas, minerals, ice
creams, sandwiches, paninis,
baguettes, lovely cakes and snacks
and more.
Outside there is a stage for live music
and an outside licensed bar, plus an
ice cream kiosk, both also serving
fresh ground coffee, tea, hot chocolate
and cold drinks. Acorn Adventures, the
supplier of watersports activities,
operates a climbing wall in the
grounds as well as a range of activities
on the lake.
Arrow Valley Lake, man-made as part of the River Arrow flood prevention works, offers
27 acres of water sports and activities just 10 minutes from the town centre.
