               Mr Thomas, for the defendant argued that the words “See all over the house” were not
               inconsistent with the contract.  It would be useless unless the advertisement could be seen
               by the whole of the audience. – His Honour gave judgement for plaintiff for the amount
               claimed.

               Applications – Mr Ritson, manager of the Public Hall, presented plans prepared by Mr B.
               Perrins, for certain alterations. – The Bench having examined the building with the plans, the
               application was granted.
               An application by Mr Ballard, manager of the Palace Theatre, for two
               children to play, was adjourned. - 1916
