               Granted – The manager of the Palace Theatre was granted permission
               to hold a charity concert on behalf of the Star and Garter Fund on
               Sunday. – October 1916

               Tardebigge – Entertaining the Wounded Soldiers – Yesterday (Friday)
               afternoon, Mr. G. Barron, the manager of the Redditch Palace Theatre,
               brought Mrs Kit Jones “All Change Here” company to the V.A.D.
               Hospital and gave an entertainment to the patients. – October 1916
               During the week a sum of £8.2s.9d. had been collected at the Palace Theatre and this was
               expended on cigarettes, pipes, and tobacco, which were distributed among the wounded
               soldiers.
