Redditch Scoutmasters with the colours – No fewer than five Redditch
scoutmasters are on war service, these being Commissioner W. H. Wiggin, and Soutmasters
McMichael (Alvechurch), Arblaster (Beoley) Captain Johnson (Wythall), and Spinks (Hewell).
Further evidence of the patriotic spirit existing among the Boy Scouts is furnished by the fact
nd
that in one troop alone – the 2 Redditch (St Stephen’s) troop – eighteen of the old members
are at present serving with the colours.
