Redditch Heritage Trail

Evesham Walk

Evesham Walk follows the line of the old Evesham
Street and was started in the phase I of the
Kingfisher development and completed in phase II.
The artist’s impression below is fairly accurate
although no escalator exists today. At the point
where this escalator is sited stood the former
Congregational Church. In the photograph, the
wall adjacent to the telephone box marked the
extent of the phase I development.
