CAMEO (Engineering & Manufacturing Division.)

CAMEO provides a CADCAM project ser- vice which helps small to medium
sized companies in the engineering and manufacturing industries to design

new pro- ducts and improve existing ones.

CAMEO's skilled engineers use a Com-

Cputervision Designer V-X CADCAM system on behalf of customers to carry out
tasks such as 3 dimensional modelling of components and associated tooling
prior to preparing data to drive numerically controlled machine tools.

In addition, a consultancy team is avail- able for design studies and analysis, for
layout and detail drawings and for loading of existing product data to CADCAM

databases. The CAMEO computer is link- ed to the METEOR Service, enabling
structural analysis of CAMEO "designed components to be carried out. CAD
data may be transferred to the CAMEO system from either AUTOCAD or the

Computer- vision Personal Designer, both of which are based on the IBM PC XT
or AT.

COMET (Business Development Division)

COMET is an electronic messaging system which provides a cost-effective and
efficient alternative to other means of business communication, such as memos

or telephone. COMET enables a subscriber to send and receive messages and
handle all the associated work of message preparation, editing, filing, retrieval
and distribution control.

Each user sends and receives messages via a personal mailbox using a
computer terminal, PC or word processor.

COMET is connected to the telex network, and can be accessed nationally over
Infotrac and PSS by telephone dial-up, and internationally using IPSS.

Communications Consultancy Group (CCG) (Planning & Commercial
Division)

CCG is a specialised consultancy service advising on all aspects of networking

and telecommunications including both voice and data.

CCG has the advantage of being completely unbiased towards any hardware
