MAXCIM

MAXCIM is a manufacturing control soft- ware package for manufacturing
companies. It is an extremely comprehensive product with a high-level of

functionality and conforms to standard MRPII conventions. Modules include:

Inventory Purchasing Bill of Materials Works Order Status Manufacturing Cost

Requirements Planning Shop Routing

Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Capacity Management.

It also includes a financial system to offer a complete management system
covering sales order processing and analysis, financial ledgers and fixed assets.

MAXCIM is available only on the DEC VAX range of computers. It utilises
standard RMS Data Management and standard DEC software products.

TARDIS

TARDIS is a time and attendance and labour management package. With

TARDIS, modern electronic badge readers and time-clocks are linked to a
central computer, and management has immediate access to manpower
availability information, where necessary identified by skill/level of expertise.

Accurate recording of hours worked by each employee is provided and
immediate reallocation of personnel to various tasks can take place to meet
production demands.

TARDIS can be linked to payroll systems and is able to provide manning
summaries and weekly labour performance reports.

TACKER

TRACKER is an on-line work-in-progress monitoring and control system which

enables management to monitor accurately the flow of materials and parts
throughout the manufacturing and assembly process.

Data is collected using a wide range of data capture devices such as bar code
readers.
