IDEAS (Commercial Division.)

IDEAS is an integrated modular business system designed to computerise the
administration of motor dealers. It is a complete package of software and

hardware, designed to run on Nixdorf Computers.

With seven modules: parts, vehicle sales, servicing, financial accounting, sales
prospecting, forecourt and payroll, IDEAS is unique in that it can be moulded to

suit the needs of a particular business without changing software.

As the modules are interlocking, each department can use a common set of data

which is always updated, allowing decisions to be made on the latest
information.

INFOTRAC (Commercial Division.)

Infotrac is ISTEL's own value-added net- work. Local access is provided by 62
nodes sited around the UK in major towns and cities, making Infotrac the

country's largest commercial private data network.

Infotrac is simple to use, economical and flexible. A number of data formats can

be handled and the network can connect computers over any distance to a
variety of terminals and peripherals, with absolute assurance of error-free
transmission.

Using Videotex terminals via Infotrac, data can be sent and received from any

number of users around the country easily and inexpensively.

INVIEW (Commercial Division.)

InView is a multi-user insurer Viewdata service developed specifically for the

life assurance industry. InView can provide life assurance and mortgage
quotations,

with the facility to store, review and print quotations when required.

By using InView, improved sales success ratios are achieved as immediate

responses to enquiries are given and clients' needs can be accurately matched
to as many insurers as required.

InView is provided via Infotrac and is supported by a team of computer
professionals offering in-depth experience in all aspects of life assurance
systems. InView is provided through the combination of ISTEL and InView Ltd.
