Alcester Street - Looking North West

Looking North up Alcester Street was much
different pre-1980s when most of the old buildings
on the east side were demolished.
By the mid ‘80s the West side had already been
redeveloped with the building of new civic and
government offices.
Later it was pedestrianised and today forms a
pleasant green route into the town centre.
